Murat Menemenli

 

He completed his secondary education at Ankara College and High School in the USA. He is a graduate of Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences,, completed the Wharton Business School Executive Development Program in the later years.

In 19 years of his 35-year career at Koç Holding, he served as general manager in 3 different companies. He became the general manager of the Marketing Company of Uniroyal, Fulda (today's Continental) Tires of Turkey, in 1991.

Later, he is the founding general manager of TNT Lojistik (today CEVA), which was established with the partnership of Koç Holding and the Netherlands-based TNT. After Koç Holding sold its shares to its foreign partner, he was appointed as the general manager of Beko Ticaret Company and transformed this company into a central purchasing company that makes purchases on behalf of all Koç Companies, such as advertising, media, foreign services, materials and logistics. (The name of the company was later changed to Zer Merkezi Hizmetleri A.Ş.).

After retirement, he took part as a member of the board of directors of İnci Logistics, a subsidiary of İnci Holding, for about 3 years, and took part in the transformation of the company as well as in the process of partnership with the Japanese Yusen Logistics company. 

He still gives various conferences, especially on purchasing, at home and abroad. In addition to being a member of many clubs and associations, he is a founding member of Maslak Rotary Club.
