Nurlu almond, which stands out with its very aromatic, delicious and much larger and distinctive shape compared to other almonds, is a geographically marked almond because it is a species that can only be grown in Datça in the world. Growing up in such a narrow area actually makes Nurlu a local heritage, a valuable treasure. The main reason why it does not grow or yield anywhere else in Turkey other than Datça is its early flowering. For this reason, while early frosts are caught in other regions, since there is no frost in Datça's special micro-climate, even though it begins to bloom in early February, its flowers do not get frosty.

Again, with Datça's strong winter and spring rains, almonds are ripening, and they are filled. For this reason, it has a different flavor, delicious sharpness, and a more distinctive shape and a large type... In the light of all this information, if the others are almonds, we can say that Datça's Nurlu is their queen.
